In our school students had taken the voter’s pledge to uphold the dignity of fair and peaceful elections. The Pledge is as follows:-
“We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby pledge to uphold the democratic tradition of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement”.
This pledge was held so that students should know the importance of election and their vote as these students are the future generation of our country.
