The Annual Sports day OORJA of Lucknow Public School, Kalindi Park Branch, was held on 18-12-2022 in the sprawling and lush green area with much fervor and passion.
The chief guest for the event was Mohini Pathak, Add. Supt. of UP Police 112. Among Guest of honour where Mr. Pradeep Shukla (Ex Indian Junior and Ranji Trophy Cricketer).
Mr. Lalit Kumar, Laxman Award winner for his commendable work in weight and power lifting and Ms. Shanti Bisht M/O Lt. Hari Singh Bisht, Martyr in Kargil war. The highlights of the sports day were Glimpses of Indian’s Struggle for freedom, gymnastics, yoga applauding loud our theme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava, Fit India and Khelo India’.
The pre-primary and primary enthralled the audience with their fun-filled races. Class 3rd aerobic performance was indeed captivating.
Our achievers for CBSE cluster events 2022 Master Anupam Yadav, Gold Medalist in 1500mt and 5km race along with Tennis, Gold Medalist Master Kshitij Raj Sinha and Master Aarav Bhaskar were appreciated for the commendable work.
The chief guest was delighted to see the large number of young children participating enthusiastically. She appreciated the efforts of the participants and said the medium of sports is like a rejuvenating therapy for all. The performance reaped many laurels by one and all. A letter of appreciation from CBSE cluster was also presented to our principal for being an educationist promoting sports and games in our institution.
