The primary objective of the workshop was to create awareness among educators about the best ways to take advantage of the internet securely and efficiently as well as other digital services in order to reach their maximum potential while ensuring cyber safety and security. The guests were welcomed by the Principal Mrs. Manisha, The program commenced with lamp lighting followed by Ganesh Vandana and a welcome song.
The school like Sacred Heart School- Rajiv Nagar, Shivani Public School , Guru Kripa Divine Grace Public School- Bahraich, APS & Lucknow Public School- Kalindi Park participated in it. Both trainers made sure that the educators are conversant with the terms related to cyber safety and security. The use of internet, fraud, crime, and prevention were successfully explained and explored in the context of prior knowledge. The handouts provided served the intended function of educating the trainers about the topic under discussion.
The objective of CBSE CBP was to broaden educator awareness on cyber safety and security. Terms like threats, bank fraud, phishing cybercrime, cyber-security, and cyber awareness were explained, as well as ethical issues and obstacles, patents, copywriting, trademarks, and plagiarism were also explained. The participants exhibited active participation. The participants were also shown videos and clips depicting fraud and cybercrime. Real-world examples were given for enhancing comprehension and clarity.
During the workshop's reflection session, educators enthusiastically and completed the task assigned by the resource person on stage. Each group created a visual representation of the subject matter using the provided chart paper. The participants carried out demonstrations, explanations, or act performances. The understanding of the participants was tested on the basis of questionnaire administered to them. In the end the principal Mrs. Manisha thanked all the participants, the resource persons and COE Prayagraj for giving the opportunity to host the workshop.
The primary takeaway to be learned from the CBSE CBP on "Cyber Safety & Security" is that no one can avoid using the internet and other digital services in the modern world, and accidents are a non-negotiable part of these amenities. Therefore, it is important to keep up with "Cyber Safety & Security" in order to avoid losing hard-earned money, data, personal information, identities, or having social media accounts hacked, as well as dealing with legal difficulties if a loss occurs.
